Ignatian Spirituality

I have been a participant in the Ignatian Faculty Forum (IFF) at Santa Clara University from its inception in 2002 until 2019, and have spent ten years as one of its facilitators. The IFF is a university-wide program whose primary objective is to develop faculty leaders that understand Ignatian spirituality, and are willing to incorporate it into their personal and professional lives. For more information about this forum, see the IFF webpage.

In 2011, I was asked by the president of Santa Clara University to represent our school in the Ignatian Colleagues Program (ICP). This is a nation-wide program which is designed to educate administrators at Jesuit universities about the Ignatian tradition. Among other things, the ICP entails an immersion trip to Latin America (Nicaragua or El Salvador), and participation in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola. More details can be found at the ICP website.
