Undergraduate Programs
The
School of Engineering has established a tradition of educational
excellence, since its inception in 1912. The hallmark of a SCU Engineering
education is the solid foundation that is imparted on each student:
a great blend of theory and practice. Besides developing technical
skills for the workplace, SCU Engineering is also concerned about
the development of the whole person, by incorporating a broad liberal
arts based general education requirements with a humanistic approach,
in line with the School of Engineering's Vision and Mission.
As a SCU Engineering student, you will find the best part of the
program to be the people. You will be surrounded by a talented and
friendly group of individuals through our faculty, staff, and students.
Our programs are intimate and personal. The small student to faculty
ratio provides you more individualized attention from your professors.
The professors will know you by the time you graduate. Finally,
smaller classes also help you know your classmates better, forming
life-long friendships, which is integral to any college experience.
