I selected this textbook when I decided to add topics on submicron technology in the undergraduate course that I teach at Santa Clara University. Prior to this textbook, I used Rabaey's first edition and supplemented with notes on the submicron topics. But, I preferred that the topic to be part of the book since many students tend to think the supplemental notes are unimportant topics. I also found the book clearer diagrams. My only reservation is that the book does not contain enough problems for practice. Solution manual is available from the author.
